Albumin in Urine/Proteinuria

Blood purification is the function of kidney in human body. When kidney get diseased or get infected it is called as nephritis. When kidney`s function got impaired albumin is also extract out from body along with urine. An albumin urine test will provide information about the quantity of protein (albumin) present in urine.

 

If we look on the amount of proteins found in urine- the following five types of proteinuria exist. They are distinguished by milligrams (mg) of protein measured during a 24-hour urine collection:

 

 

  • Microalbuminuria
  • Mild
  • Moderate
  • Heavy
  • Nephrotic range

30–150 mg

150–500 mg

500–1000 mg

1000–3000 mg

more than 3500 mg

 

People with nephrotic-range proteinuria typically have extensive glomeruli damage and usually develop nephrotic syndrome.

Common Symptoms:

 

  • Fever, Thirst, urging to urinate again and again, albumin in urine, aneamia.

  • Old compalints of blood in urine.
  • Burning during micturation, blood in urine with burning and urine dribbles, burning ater micturation.
  • Acute or recent conditio, swelling incresaes, firstly in hands, below eyes, and then in whole body, clod sweat, burning in whole body, irritation, weakness, sips of water for n thirst.
  • Pus in urine, uncontrolled urine, weakness of urinary bladder
  • Complaints of urinary bladder in pregnancy
